Mwai Kibaki Referral Hospital (MKRH) is a premier Level 6 referral and teaching hospital situated in Othaya Sub-county, Nyeri County, Kenya.
- Opened by the Ministry of Health on 4 August 2019.
- Annexed facility of Kenyatta National Hospital since 30 October 2019.
- Serving Nyeri and nine neighbouring counties.
- Expanded into specialised disciplines with community outreach.

Who We Are
MKRH was established under Legal Notice No. 146 of 20th September 2024, with the mandate to:
- Provide specialised healthcare and receive referrals from other institutions.
- Provide facilities for medical education, training and research.
- Participate in national health planning and policy.
- Collect, analyse and disseminate data for prevention and treatment of chronic diseases.
